    How to Capture a Transaction

    Processing a capture on our portal is simple. Follow these steps to locate the transaction and initiate a capture.

    Eligibility of Capture

    Captures are only possible of active authorisations.

    1. Locate the Transaction

    • Log In to the Portal: Visit portal.apcopay.tech and log in with your reference, username, and password.
    • Search for the Transaction: Use the search criteria box at the top to locate the transaction you want to capture.

    2. Open the Transaction Details

    • Select the Transaction: In the search results, click on the transaction you want to capture to open its details.
    • Review Transaction Details: Verify that the transaction information matches the one you intend to capture.

    3. Process the Capture

    • Click "Capture": On the transaction details page, locate and click the "Capture" button.
    • Confirm the Capture: A prompt will appear to confirm the Capture. Confirm to initiate the Capture process.

    4. Check Capture Status

    After confirming, a new transaction will be generated and visible in the linked transactions. You can view the status of the capture by selecting that transaction.
