Shopify Payment App

Apcopay is an approved payment app that integrates with Shopify. With the Apcopay payment app, Shopify users can effortlessly enable payments on their e-commerce websites while enjoying the advantage of having payments processed through their preferred acquirer and branded to their specifications. This integration enhances the payment experience for both businesses and customers, ensuring a seamless and tailored payment process.

You will need access to the shopify portal as well as merchant credentials as provided by our support team.

One-Time Setup

You can install the Apcopay payment app here. Click on 'install' to begin the installation process on your store.

Choose the store you want to install the payment app on and click on Install App.

Enter the credentials provided when you account was created and use the Merchant code and Password. Click continue.

The Apcopay app is now installed in the payment section under your shop. Enable test mode to perform test transactions with Apcopay App. Click on activate Apcopay.

Enabling Apcopay as a Payment Method

For using Apcopay as a payment method through Shopify, access the Payments section in your store and check the Supported Payment Methods. If Apcopay is activated, it should be listed as a payment method "Apcopay" and Status Active. If you have installed Apcopay payment App and it is not listed as a payment method, click on Add Payment Method and go to Search by Provider. Search Apcopay , select the Apcopay provider and click on Activate.

Going back to the Payments section. Apcopay will now be visible in the payment methods. To change the status from test to live, click manage and remove the test mode as needed.

Payments

Successful payments are shown in the Orders Section of Shopify. Clicking on the order , information about the financial transaction on ApcoPay is visible in the order timeline. The Payment ID in the Information from the gateway can be found in the Order Ref column with the transaction on the ApcoPay portal.

Refunds

Once a refund is processed with Apcopay, the status in the order details will be as pending. The refund will be processed after 2-3minutes. Once the refund is processed, an email is sent to the user informing him of the refund and the order details will be updated to refunded.
